Book Review - Your Money, God’s Way.
(And now we briefly interrupt this stagnant blog with a book review…)
Amie Streater, like any money management guru, started off in debt up to her eyeballs. Your Money, God’s Way is her introspective look at what her and others did wrong, why, and how they fixed it. She uses “counterfeit convictions”, lies we believe about our money, to bring forth solutions for debt and money-management problems.
I will admit, at first I had a force myself a little to read this book as a reviewer. I’m not in debt, and I have generally made good decisions with my money. One thing that I’ve really been learning is how everything I have is not mine, it’s God’s, and no matter what, God is not going to let go of me(and I have never been let go of!). Amie constantly references scripture in her writing, and the context adds up. Once I got 1/4 into it, I couldn’t stop until I hit the end, quite satisfied with all I’d read. I definitely recommend this book to anyone struggling with their money.
